24 Days 'Till Christmas: Chocolate Gooey Bars

To kick off the holidays, I have decided to do 25 Days of Christmas Desserts =) This dessert is one that is so very good. Might even have to make some myself! I first tried these at the in-laws. Not sure if this is like their recipe, but with all foods, there's more than one way to make it ;-)

Chocolate Gooey Bars
1 box Duncan Hines fudge buttery cake mix
1 1/4 stick butter, melted
1 egg, beaten
1 box powdered sugar
1 (8 oz.) pkg. softened cream cheese
2 eggs, beaten
1 sm. pkg. chocolate chips or semi-sweet chocolate chips

Mix first 3 ingredients and press into 9x13 inch greased and floured pan. Top with powdered sugar and cream cheese mixture. After the 2 eggs have been added, stir in chocolate chips and bake at 350 degrees for 30-45 minutes.
